 The color “blue” represents the hue of prisoners’ uniforms throughout most American prisons, with the exception of for example, the state of New York (green), and the uniforms that’s issued to inmates in Federal Prisons (beige).

 The “Crescent” is the adopted symbol that Muslim nations and states, throughout history, have chosen for their identity. Thus, it has become the “Islamic “symbol found on top of mosques domes, minarets, art, and flag.

 Thus, “Blue Crescents” is a representation of Muslims in blue prison uniforms, doing time throughout American correctional institutions.
