Whispers of a Soul

Whispers of a Soul is Humera Sultana’s debut as a poet. It’s a slim volume of poems written in a state of inspiration transformed into imaginative experience. The volume traverses through the realms of personal, religious and mystic feelings. Her poems have intense emotions and spiritual moods. Ideas and sounds are woven with a skillful sensitivity. She has beautifully communicated her varied experience of life. The poet teaches English Literature at Imam Muhammad Tbn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She got her doctorate in English Literature from MANUU, Hyderabad, India. Besides this, she calmed down her spirit of curiosity about understanding Islam by doing her Master’s in Islamic Studies from Osmania University, Hyderabad India, where she was awarded two gold medals. In addition, she has a Post Graduate Diploma in the teaching of English from CIEFL, Hyderabad, India. Musings is the author’s debut as a writer
